This is Nick's 12th solo single and definitely one of his best.

Nick's last solo single on Jeepers! – 'The Funky Muzik' – topped the MOS Download electro chart and reached no.2 in the DJ Download chart. So we are expecting big things from this release, especially as it includes a top quality package of remixes.

Nick Hook supplies two mixes: the storming, funked-up, electro house Come Together Mix plus the deeper, more progressive Original Mix.

Nick's First Life production partner Martin Sharp turns in two superb and very different remixes: Martin Sharp's Family Remix is rocking, dubby, electro house, while Martin Sharp's Unified Remix is a beautifully produced, full-on, uplifting, progressive, hands-in-the-air mix.

Top Russian DJ / producer Anton Neumark supplies a big-room, awesome, underground monster of a mix in his own inimitable style, while fellow Russian producer Alex Camel goes for a more deep and housey mix that has class written all over it.

Nick Hook has been a house music DJ and producer since 1990 and has released more than 80 productions (including remixes) on labels including FFRR, Distinctive, Whoop!, React, Limbo, Baroque, Phonetic, DMC, Stress, Om, In Music, Wallop, Segment, Multiply... and many more.

Nick co-founded one of the early trailblazing UK progressive house music labels, the highly influential Om Records, in 1992. He was also co-promoter/resident DJ at two of London's most legendary progressive house clubs, Loosen Up and Whoop It Up!, in the 1990's, not to mention having DJ'd at many of the top clubs in the UK and all over Europe.

As well as Nick's many solo releases he has also recorded collaborations under various act names including First Life, Subterfuge, Casey Jones Effect, Pleasure Box and Soundsource. His remix credits include Alex Neri, The Grid, Gusto, Saint Ettienne and Adamski.

Nick is currently a resident DJ at the Ocean Rooms and Suga Qube clubs in Brighton, and he continues to play at clubs around the UK and Europe.

Rhythm Punkz are hot duo Rob Currie and Paul Jones, formed in 1995 they have remixed for the likes of Missy Elliot, Innercity & Loose Cannons which alone is very impressive! And with a gig roster that has seen them play across Europe and Australia in the past they are internationally bound again this year for Poland and Asia.

So it’s now Rhythm Punkz turn to let you know what they are all about, musically! They’re partner in crime, John Charles, a 28 year old with a big love affair with house music has seen his raw talent rub shoulders with the best; Erick Morillo, Steve Angello & James Zabiela to name a few. Besides the djing flair, he is also busy working on his own fully produced tracks and remixes going under his own name and the Tokyo Warriors pseudonym.

London based DJ/production duo Sam Holt and Gavin Mills aka Copyright is another victim of debuting album for this year.

Their “Voices & Visions“, released on May 26th on respected Defected, is a collection of “soulful house, classic song writing with latin, afrobeat, disco, funk and tech influences and outstanding vocal performances“.

Since Copyright’s first proper release on Soulfuric back in 2000 they’ve took a great journey delivering loads of great tunes, culminating on their mixage of 2007 “Miami In The House” compilation for Defected.
