Straight outta brooklyn New York via UK's most forward thinking dance label comes a slice of house heaven in the form of a 5 thack EP, produced by the mighty TODD TERRY.

Todd Terry productions blended the sounds of classics disco, the more introspective Chicago sound, and plenty of hip-hop attitude and sampling piracy to define the NYC house sound in the 80's and 90's.

Also responsable for Everything But The Girl's mournful " MISSING" into the worldwide club/pop, it is testament to his continuing hunger for the cutting edge that he came upon Elementary Group. Having supported the label's recent underground smashes by Hooker and Hughes & Spier, "the God" asked them to put out his extra hot booty of Ray charles - Without You, and was so happy with the results he got vocal don Roland Clark to re-sing it and gave the label 4 more glorious thrack to release as the "INHOUSE EP".

Highlights include "New Life" whch features house diva SHAWNEE TAYLOR who delivers an absolute soulful nugget the apty named " Journey", a mean tech-house cut, and "Sunday Morning" , a peak-time monster that effortlessly ignites and lifts any dance-floor with every spin. This excellente EP is sure to appeal to the full spectrum of house Djs both in the clubs and on the radio.

TRIBAL MIX VOL.4 -- BY PHILIPPE B.

At the age of 10, Philippe B experienced a revelation with the discovery of the format 12’’ and started his vinyls collection : Supertramp, Police, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang… At the age of 14 he got his first Technics turntable. 4 years later, he moved from Nantes to Paris and discovered the nights of the capital with the Palace and the Boy Clubs. He then found his style : House Music and started to mix regularly at the Club News of Nantes, dedicated to Electronic Sounds. Many well known French Djs got together with Philippe B to play before he became the Resident Dj of the Parisian Club Le Queen located in the Champs Elysées. Then there were also nights mixing at Les Bains Douches, L’Enfer, le Folie’s, Le Gibus, La Loco, clubs abroad like Pacha Ibiza, private parties for VIPS (Johnny Hallyday, Vivienne Westwood…) Another passion : his studio where some good house tracks were realized together with some remixes for such kingsize masters as New Order or Antoine Clamaran. Here is a real mix demonstration by Philippe B for the 4th volume of our serie Tribal Mix including a special mix + an exclusive tracklisting.
