TRIBAL MIX VOL.4 -- BY PHILIPPE B.

At the age of 10, Philippe B experienced a revelation with the discovery of the format 12’’ and started his vinyls collection : Supertramp, Police, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang… At the age of 14 he got his first Technics turntable. 4 years later, he moved from Nantes to Paris and discovered the nights of the capital with the Palace and the Boy Clubs. He then found his style : House Music and started to mix regularly at the Club News of Nantes, dedicated to Electronic Sounds. Many well known French Djs got together with Philippe B to play before he became the Resident Dj of the Parisian Club Le Queen located in the Champs Elysées. Then there were also nights mixing at Les Bains Douches, L’Enfer, le Folie’s, Le Gibus, La Loco, clubs abroad like Pacha Ibiza, private parties for VIPS (Johnny Hallyday, Vivienne Westwood…) Another passion : his studio where some good house tracks were realized together with some remixes for such kingsize masters as New Order or Antoine Clamaran.
