“Consolation”, his last album, was an opera rock LP which charmed the world of directors (Broken English directed by Zoé Cassavetes and J'ai toujours rêvé d'être un Gangster by Samuel Benchetrit) as well as mainstream rock magazines (Rolling Stones).
Juan Trip’ has been manufactured by the past and “Fireplace”, his new album, is deeply influenced by psychedelic years. Although the production of its 20 tracks is perfectly arranged, well-thought and definitely turned to the future.
2008, Juan Trip’ is back with his new LP crossing Velvet Underground, Jefferson Airplane and 13th Floor Elevators. To sum up, here is one of the “must have” rock albums of the year which includes tracks with no limit between rock and 3rd millenium trip. Juan Trip’ is always on the run !
