Russel Pollitt ::: Right good old selection of remixes on here, a definite something for everyone. Samir is a good friend, and in my view one of the best producers to come to light over the past few years. His material always sounds so big & weighty. I´m going for his mixes on here.

First up is on remix duties is superstar Fedde Le Grand who's vocal mix really pushes the boundaries of the current sound, witha hit of soul in it you just can't help but get on down!

Check out his digital-only Dub mix for maximum dancefloor devastation!! Alex Gaudino and Jason Rooney are up next and provide a heavy, funk led stomper´ just listening to the riff alone will get you movin' and shakin' and then all of a sudden BAM you're in electronic heaven. Rising star Samir Maslo also twiddles the knobs on this with a killer deep house version, plus Rulers Of The Deep put out a heavy re-work of the original. And for the peaktime you can't miss out on the Nari & Milani mixes. Definitely something for everyone here, and a bloody fantastic start to 2009 for Peppermint Jam. Here's to more of the same!!

Dean Serafini for jjazproject.com ::: Ten years on from it´s first outing Peppermint Jam have commissioned a new package of mixes from some of the biggest players in the business in the hope of introducing this to a new generation of clubbers.

Onboard at at the controls this time around are Fedde Le Grande, Samir Maslo, Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney, Nari & Milani and Rulers of The Deep. The mixers are all tougher than the 1999 versions but you would most likely have expected that. My own favorite comes from Gaudino & Rooney who deliver by far the funkiest mix underpinned by funky chic-esque guitars and rhythms before giving way to old school synths Chicago style.
