Ralf GUM vs. Dennis Legree & Inaya Day
Ralf GUM, Harmony & Soul & Groove – just some aspects of Ralf’s subtle house style...
MoreRalf GUM’s creating music since 1993. In 1997 he teamed up with mate CrisP. He worked with notable artists as Inaya Day, Michael Procter or the fascinating Concha Buika. He is well known for his succession of quality productions on labels such as Tommy Boy, Peppermint Jam, Compose, Sole, Milk & Sugar, Infracom and Flamingo Discos.
His remixes for artists like Hacienda or Billie Ray Martin have helped these songs become dance floor classics. The Hallmark of Ralf’s sound is his use of live instrumentation and funky harmonies coupled with wicked underground beats and crisp percussion.
But the distinctive groove isn’t the only reason for Ralf’s success – his passion for all things soulful shines through in all he does and helps create a simply irresistible groove each and every time he emerges from the studio. tracks:
Try Me - Ralf GUM & Benny Pecoraio Original Try Me - Robero De Carlo Classic Vocal Mix Try Me - Roberto De Carlo Funky Dub Mix

Toni Sea + Ralph Gum - Beautiful @ GOGO Music Ralf GUM’s back after various much acclaimed remixes, including works for Shaun Escoffery on Oyster, Jay Sinister on ATAL as well as for RAW ARTISTIC SOUL or Roberto De Carlo on his own GOGO Music imprint.
This fresh headnodding and hippmoving outing entitled “Beautiful” once again prooves his distinctive ability for programming superior beats and his innate desire to make you dance.
Sung by Toni Sea with a little help of Inaya Day on backgrounds this song is ready to become an anthem for all houselovers this year. Toni Sea made history when she became the first black woman to win the coveted crown and title of Miss Mississippi.
She's appeared on "Arsenio Hall" with Freddie Jackson and Teena Marie, as well as with Stephanie Mills. Her Broadway credit includes "Street Corner Symphony." Internationally, Ms. Sea appeared in George Faison's "Only For One Night" in Europe and was a featured performer in Melba Moore's One Woman Show.
Now Toni’s beautiful voice hits the dancefloor for the first time and she’s coming up with so much love that this tune will surely light up your day long after this autumn. s Ralf GUM’s impeccable production skills really shine through as he dishes up a bouncing groove with syncopted drumpatterns topped by CrisP's unmistakable harmonisation.
As only they can Phil Kullmann and his RAW ARTISTIC SOUL deliver a dreamy Afrobeat Dub containing vast live instrumentation in their own inimitable style. Roberto De Carlo rounds of the release with one of his astounding soul-filled, funky mixes.

Remember KNIGHTS OF THE JAGUAR!?!? Martin Brodin's first single ever! And what a single it is. This is in the same vein as Jaguar, melodic techno with a house feeling. It builds perfectly all thru the track with clever changes bit by bit. We would like to describe it as an anthem! Dibaba's mix is a bit more quirky affair with an ultra funky bassline with catchy synth effects. But it's still a very melodic feelgood track. A perfect single for lots of various dj's with it's cool attitude. It has already created a stir amongst some heavy names from early cdr's such as Laurent Garnier, James Holden and Kenny Hawkes and many more tracks: "Semitone Shuffle" (original mix) "Semitone Shuffle" (Dibaba's 7th Wave remix)

MADONNA -- Hung Up (2005 UK limited edition 4-track 12" vinyl single - the 1st single to be taken from her eagerly anticipated album 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' sees a infectious, relentlessly energetic and a perfect taste of things to come with samples of the Abba classic 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' and including Album Version, SDP Extended Dub & Vocal mixes plus Tracy Young's Get Up And Dance Groove Edit, picture sleeve). Tracklisting / Additional Info: 1. Radio Version 2. Sdp Extended Mix 3. Tracy Young's Get Up Ands Dance Groove 4. Bill Hamel Remix 5. Chus & Ceballos Remix 6. Sdp Extended Dub UK 12" (or 30cm maxi) singles began their meteoric rise in the heady disco boom of the 1970’s, although it was during the 1980’s that they really began to transform the singles chart. Usually playing at 45rpm the extra dimensions gave more scope to create longer versions of the standard 3-minute radio-friendly chart single, leading not just to an extended version, but often to fully-produced remixes. The format was a perfect marketing tool, enabling you to buy different versions of the same single, giving rise to a higher or longer chart presence for that record; during its 1980’s heyday it was not unusual for there to be two, three or even four different 12" releases of the same single, all with alternate mixes or exclusive content, and often a different picture sleeve. The UK led the world in this arena. Unlike today, singles used to be million-sellers and the 12" format was largely responsible for this. Remix culture is now firmly established and is a thriving industry in its own right. With some of the earliest 12" singles now approaching 30 years old, and mid-1980’s classics now in their 20s, their rarity is always increasing. These records are meant to be played and enjoyed, and nearly always offer something different to their regular 7" counterparts. Ever wondered why a 5" CD single may credit a 12" mix? Well, this is where it all began!
Roll up, roll up; some of DFA'S finest all mixed into a 50 minute set by Tim Sweeney and Tim Goldsworthy at a knock-down, bargain price... How can you refuse? Featuring the likes of Black Dice, The Juan MacLean and lashings of LCD Soundsystem, this cheap and very cheerful mix is a proper steal and provides a heady hunk of herky-jerky post-punk-electro for those who are already well acquainted with the Murphy cabal and for those who have yet to risk a dabble. With highlights including The Juan MacLean's 'Tito's Way' (here sliced into a three-way remix bonanza), LCD Soundsystem's 'Tribulations' given the Tiga overhaul and the ratchet beats of Delia Gonzalez & Gavin Russom's '5', you couldn't go wrong at twice the price. Cheap as chips!

What Else Is There - Lyric
It was me on that road But you couldn't see me Too many lights on, but nowhere near here It was me on that road Still you couldn't see me And then flashligths and eksplosions Roads and getting nearer We cover distance but not together I am the storm and i am the wonder And the flashlights, nigthmares And sudden eksplosions I don't know what more to ask for I was given just one wish It's about you and the sun A morning run The story of my maker What i have and what i ache for I've got a golden ear I cut an i spear And what else is there Roads and getting nearer We cover distance still not together If i am the storm if i am the wonder Will i have flashlights, nightmares And sudden eksplosions There is no room i can go and You've got secrets too i don't know what more to ask for i was given just one wish.....
