The Club Banger
"New World Translation"
will be finally out on Beatport
The much anticipated release of Graeme Lloyd's New World Translation on Kult Records featured by Faithless on Pete Tongs radio One essential mix earlier this year and championed by Sister Bliss in her DJ sets, is set to be a winter smash on the dancefloors. With an amazing vocal from Lizzie Curious, who has had massive success with Robbie Rivera, Lizzie's vocal really lifts the track onto a new level.
London-based DJ and producer Graeme Lloyd is one of the new breed of rising stars who’ve cut their teeth on the London club scene and are now starting to make a big impact on the international dance music scene. Over the past five years Graeme has played at some of the biggest clubs in the world including Cream at Amnesia and Bora Bora in Ibiza; Turnmills, The Cross, Pacha, Egg and Ministry of Sound in London; and the South West Four and Electric Garden festivals to name a few.
’Twisted techno house with a driving, progressive edge’ is how Graeme describes his sound and its made him a firm favourite at nights like The Gallery where he regularly joins big names like Sister Bliss, Tall Paul and Benny Benassi. He was also a resident at the infamous Starf*cker parties around London alongside the likes of Suicide Sports Club. Most recently, Graeme has secured a residency with Twisted Disco at Pacha which has seen him play alongside Claude VonStroke, King Roc and Jamie McHugh.
With such superb experience behind him, it wasn’t long before international bookings followed including dates in Norway, Australia, Ukraine and Russia in particular, where he has played in Ekaterinburg, Kazan and Ufa with great success. Graeme recently played in China for club Bon Bon in Shanghai, the home of Godsitchen.
in 2008 Graeme began to flourish as a producer and many long nights spent in the studio are yielding serious results. In particular, his collaboration with The Catz, ’Candiru’, has become a big track in the clubs. out now on Playtime Records and awarded four stars in DJ magazine, it has become a firm favourite with many of big players and Nic Fanciulli is quoted as saying, "It’s been the biggest track in my box for the last four months." ’Candiru’ was also included on a recent Jnr J cover CD for in DJ magazine.
2009 started with a bang as Graeme played New years Eve at Ministry of sound and has continued his residency at ministry for Gallery through the the year, as-well as International tours in Russia, Kiev and Poland.
in 2010 he made his debut on KULT Records and this record is the first of a slew of hits signed to the label.
The featured vocalist on this incredible Anthem that she performed and wrote lyrics to is Lizzie Curious who is arguably the most successful female house DJ in the UK. Years of experience combined with her raw talent, insatiable appetite for the hottest house music, a never ending source of energy and enthusiasm, flawless technical skills and consistent floor-filling, crowd-enthusing performances has led to a summer residency in Ibiza at the world-famous superclub Privilege, 2 residencies in the UK (Sick Vibez and her own flagship night The Curiousity Club), plus headline gigs around the country and worldwide, where she consistently delights house aficionados time and time again. As a singer/songwriter she has firmly established herself globally, working with the likes of Robbie Rivera, Dinka and Ali Wilson, having already notched up over 20 releases to her name.
The package contains remixes from master producers, Sonny Wharton and Ort & Rodriguez ...Sonny's mix takes the track on a really groovey tech house trip, before ripping into a huge breakdown.Ort & Rodriguez have delivered a deep, driving more minimal mix which will be delivered by DJs in the early hours.'

Cr2 Underground Vol. 2
1. SP 'Never Stop The Action'
2. Paolo Mojo 'Alininha' (Edu Imbernon Remix)
3. UGLH & Federico Locchi 'People Underground'
4. Mendo 'Morena'
5. Tapesh '5 Days'
Kicking things off is a track, that in its earlier versions, and from a handful of white-labels has over this summer found a strong level of support from the likes of Ben Watt and Radio Slave. The mysterious SP's 'Never Stop' is a party track extraordinaire. Most definitely one for those that like their music touched by the glitterball, its funky bassline, and cheeky vocal sample are a real joy, as is the main break. Essential material.
Next up is Cadenza artist Mendo with 'Morena'. Known for his work on Luciano's imprint as well as a host of productions and remixes for labels including Bouq, Clarisse, Waldliebe Muzik and Sondos. A lovely deep house cut, built around a strong groove and vocal stabs. 'Morena' is a solid cut that is set to keep many a set driving.
Edu Imbernon steps up the plate for track three, and brings us his take on Paolo Mojo's Cr2 release 'Alininha'. The the original was a summer fueled, samba-tastic crowd pleaser, and Edu has taken the essence of Latin America, and injected it into the funk that runs throughout his remix. Great vocal work, deep synth stabs in the final third make this is a sure fire winner.
With the fashion for filtered house in full swing, two of Cr2's regular artists drop their latest golden nuggets of sparkling house. First up UGLH & Federico Locchi give us 'People Underground' with is driving groove, filtered keys and oldskool vocal sample.
Rounding out the package is Tapesh with '5 Days'. A funky roller that makes full use of a much tried and tested vocal. A great set builder, with some great warm, full synth stabs, that is set to be a favorite with the ladies in the house, and after all, thats why we do this isn't it...
