Frankie Valentine is a wellknown dj & producer
but informations about him have been one of the best
kept secrets in London's music industry so far! With his
release of his forthcoming album “Below the Radar”
this point in his history is goin to change.
Having been in the dance music scene for ages,
London born Dj and producer Frankie Valentine`s first
involvement in house music was in 1983, with Prelude
records "Music's Got Me" by Visual. When not only
the house music scene in England started to get some
kind of audience, but also Frankie himself.
In 1988, Frankie was asked to do illegal warehouse
parties with a few other Djs, where they went around playing
in warehouses up and down the country and then moving
on to Sunrise and other major events. That was when he
started to get regular work.He`s been deejaying for
over 20 years and has been producing for 11 years.
His hometown London has given him many opportunities to
show his range of different styles in dance music, from
uptempo to downtempo, making him one of the most
in demand Djs & producers from London.Since then,
Frankie has not only played most clubs up and down the U.K.,
but has also played at such exotic places like Japan,
Australia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Iceland- to name a few.
As a Dj he has played in most major cities around the globe
at some time or another, there are only one or two places
where Frankie hasn`tplayed!Frankie has also managed to Dj,
on a regular basis in Germany, also at Berlin's famous club Tresor.
For a long time Frankie kept coming back to this legendary
venue where he was always given the possibility to build
up the night in his very own way by playing for long hours.
The clubbers were floating around in waves ofgrooves,
funky beats and some rare dance stuff Frankie has
collected over the years and liked bringing back to the people.
Frankie has had residencies in Londons famous Limelight Club,
in the West End, and also in the famous Park Club in
Kensington with Noel Watson and Matthew B.
(otherwise known as Bushwacka).
The three have also played at Londons Rotary Club.
The night had it`s main aspect on house & techy sounds
but always on the funky & groovy side of the music!
In 1995 Frankie had the great honour to support as
the first UK Dj at the world-famous Underground Resistance
Squad, from Detroit, on their first tour in Japan!Frankie has
supported major acts like: Electribe 101 (Japan Tour),
Nomad (Japan Tour), K-Klass (Swiss Tour) and Ultra Nate
(Germany Tour) with her number one hit “Free”.
Frankie Valentine is not a one hour or two hour Dj this
dj/producer isused to playing long hoursets.Now he is
about to release his long awaited debut album “Below the radar”
on Sunshine Enterprises from Vienna, which is a showcase of
many different styles and grooves. Watch out for him
as he takes his next steps in his remarkable career!!!
